Every day, every meal, and through every form of inclement weather, our brothers and sisters will always need food to eat and a safe place to lay their head at night. They are no different than you and I. Life can change for anyone at any given moment, we could be laid off from our job, sudden death of a loved one, unfavorable health report from the doctor, which could all lead to homelessness.

That could easily happen to us, because we just don’t know what life will bring our way. In some point in our lives we have all found ourselves in a place where we needed help. [During the recession, even the more “well-off” people found themselves relying on soup kitchens for their meals.]

We are not called to judge our brothers and sisters on how they got where they are today, nor are we called to judge whether or not they can get themselves out of the current circumstances they are in, but what we are called to do is to actively love them and uplift them so they can regain their self-esteem and self-worth, through strategies that will assist them in moving ahead, beyond their circumstances.

This is what we consider a real second chance through Christ. We will provide for them, not just food and shelter but we will assist them in becoming re-acclimated to life as we know it.

How You Can Help?

Donations are the strength of our outreach and your donation will make a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters. Donate at least one dollar a week or whatever you feel in your heart to give on a weekly basis. Your donation does a lot! It allows those who are less fortunate to have a meal, a soft pillow to lay on, to have a nice dry tent to stay in, rubber pads to sleep on, and temporary housing.
