Many times we overlook our brothers and sisters who are homeless and in shelters. Church can take on any form and we, at LoveWorks, have chosen to take the church to the homeless and into the shelters. For more than two years now, we have been teaching at Eastern Shelter and Code Blue shelter.

 

Every Monday we share the Word of God at Eastern Shelter for woman only and two Sundays out of every month we share the Word of God at Code Blue Shelter. We have watched the transformation in the lives of so many of our brothers and sisters who are forgotten. We’ve watched them as they developed hope and took on a whole new perspective of what a real second chance means.

 

We share the Word of God and give them several opportunities to be rewarded one dollar for every answer they answer correctly. Our mission is to bless people spiritually and physically, and we do just that.
